INVESTMENT DESCRIPTION
The return from the Tandem Plan is effectively split into two parts:
Fixed Return of 8% p.a. on half the investment after 1 year
Investors receive back half of their original investment + 8% growth after the first year. The remainder of the investment continues, and the return is linked to growth in the FTSE 100 Index Stockmarket-linked growth on half the investment for up to 6 years.
The second half of the investment attracts growth equal to 110% of the rise in the FTSE 100 Index after 6 years and is returned with any growth on the maturity date. This portion of the investment can be re-called early by the issuing bank on payment of 8% for each year that has expired. For example, if the investment is recalled at the earliest opportunity after 3 years, investors would receive 24% growth.
100% Capital Protection Regardless of the performance of the Index, investors will receive the remainder of their capital in full after 6 years.
